Course Overview

Online Mental health Training Program’ (MHTP – IX). We invite counselors, psychologists, therapists, pediatricians, social workers, health workers, teachers, and trainers working with children experiencing developmental disabilities and their families. We will be providing a certificate for the program.

The 5 online teaching blocks of the program are the following –
BLOCK 1 – 22nd – 26th November 2021
BLOCK 2 – 10th – 14th January 2022
BLOCK 3 – 7th – 11th March 2022
BLOCK 4 – 9th – 13th May 2022
Block 5 – 20th – 24th June 2022

Weekly online supervision for half a day from November 2021 to August 2022

Mentorship – Monthly meetings after completion of the program

September 2022 – November 2022

Goals

A thorough exploration of the Narrative metaphor and its application in practice, including the background ideas and guiding principles of Narrative therapy
Skills development of the micro-maps of narrative practice as it relates to work in a variety of contexts and settings
Practice based collaborative learning including reviewing stories of therapeutic conversations, transcripts, therapeutic letters and interviews
