This is a workshop for parents of children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) to discuss this sensitive yet essential topic, to help them understand their child’s sexual development and to teach them how to teach their children about puberty.

Goals

Teach parents when, how, why and what to teach their children about puberty and the changes they will go through at different ages

Equip parents with strategies (visuals, breaking up into small steps, making it predictable) to teach children with ASD about the various aspects of puberty, including privacy, safe touch, personal hygiene
