Speech therapy is designed to help children speak and communicate more effectively.

Assessment Focus

  • Fluency
  • Vocal flexibility
  • Swallowing, feeding, and chewing

The speech and language therapist (SLT) will assess the child’s developmental level through:

The SLT will also help the family create an individualized plan to address the needs of the child and family.
