Course Overview
This workshop focuses on understanding the difference between behaviours and feelings as well as the concept of challenging behaviours and how they manifest themselves in the classroom. It facilitates understanding the concepts of “antecedents and consequences” and the role they play in behaviours that are seen as manageable or challenging. The participants also reflect on the concepts of consequences, punishments and reinforcements and the impact they have in the classroom. Additionally, the workshop encourages participants to think of and explore different ways in which to support challenging behaviours in the classroom.
