Ummeed’s training reach has increased (now spanning nearly every state and union territory in India barring a handful), we have started initiatives to support our trainees in creating sustainable inclusive local systems within and beyond the organizations they represent.
The children and families we serve have to navigate diverse systems – health, education, community, government, and others – often to even get what is rightfully theirs. This isn’t easy for them and Ummeed recognizes the need for collective work to change this reality.
Impact in the sector cannot be achieved alone, we have therefore been actively developing and nurturing partnerships with various organizations in the disability, education, early childhood development, medical, government and other sectors.
Some of this work has focused on specific geographies, and some on collective work in a particular domain (e.g., education or early childhood development). For more information on this work, click here
