Ummeed Child Development Center in its efforts to advocate for Inclusion and Social Emotional Learning (SEL) in schools, firmly believes that meaningful change can occur only through the collective efforts of all stakeholders within the educational context. By fostering collaboration and engagement among everyone involved, Ummeed aims to create systems that are not only inclusive but also supportive of social and emotional wellbeing.

To create a platform to bring all stakeholders together, the SELebrating Inclusion Summit is envisioned to be an annual Inclusion and SEL gathering of organizations, policy makers, schools, educational institutions, families, educators and any individuals working towards making the education system more inclusive, safe and focused on the wellbeing of those accessing it.

The fourth edition of the SELebrating Inclusion Summit (SIS 2024) will revolve around the theme of ‘Building a Culture of Love, Care and Compassion’ through social emotional learning informed inclusive practices. The summit aims to explore and promote the integration of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) principles into inclusive practices, fostering a culture of love, care, and compassion in education settings. This journey is guided by the principles of Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), which forms the bedrock of transformative and inclusive practices. As SIS 2024 unfolds, participants can expect a unique blend of insightful discussions, collaborative networking, and immersive experiences. The summit serves as a beacon for those committed to advancing SEL and inclusive education, marking another milestone in its continued journey of fostering positive change.
